MY NYC GUIDE - TOP 10
My guide to all of my favorite New York spots ✨
Welcome back, Lovelies!
Hope you are well! We just got back from our trip to New York and so many of you were asking what our favorite spots are in the city I thought I’d compile them all here for you! These are ten of my top recommendations if you’re headed to the Big Apple anytime soon!
1. Coffee/Matcha - Hungry Ghost
I don’t drink coffee but I’m passionate about my matcha and I am obsessed with theirs. Clayton has also confirmed their coffee is really good! I always get the oat milk vanilla matcha - hot or iced! It’s chefs kiss every time.
2. Breakfast - Bubby’s
A great classic menu and feel - everything and more you could want in a cozy breakfast spot. Their pancakes are SO good, the Abe Lincoln is one of our favorite hearty robust breakfasts, and even their green juice is good! Plus their mugs featuring the iconic ‘bubby’ are too cute!
3. Pizza - Ruby Rosa
Very thin crispy classic NYC pizza that hits every time. The interiors are charming and eclectic and makes for a great casual spot to grab a bite. You will likely have to wait a while to grab a table but it’s worth it!
4. Ramen - Ippudo Ramen
We love to start off here with a bang and order the lychee soda - delish! And every time we have to get the veggie bun (trust me it is THE one) but the shrimp version is also delicious! Their vegetarian miso ramen is incredible and is one of the coziest meals you can get in NYC!
5. Italian Food - Via Corota
The vibes and the food are immaculate. We love to start off with the artichoke salad - so refreshing and the anchovy, butter caper appetizer. I know anchovies aren’t for everyone but I LOVE this dish and highly recommend! All of their pastas are delicious we love the Cacio e Pepe!
6. Bagel - Apollo’s Bagels
Worth the hype! Their bagels have a sourdough like taste and are toasted to crunchy perfection. Their menu is small but it gets the job done. I love doing the tomato cream cheese combo - it comes with a light drizzle of olive oil and the perfect amount of seasoning!
7. Dessert - Mochi Doki
This tiny mochi shop has unique and fun flavors that are such a delight to eat. My personal favorites are the chocolate chip (such a nice texture) and birthday cake
8. Thai Food - Thai Diner
This place is so fun and quirky inside and has incredible food! The cabbage wraps are something I’ve never had at another Thai restaurant and I LOVE them - so good and on the lighter side! The Pad See Ew is also incredible - everything we’ve ever tried there is delicious
9. Bar - Bar Pisellino
You will likely have to wait for a spot here but it’s so worth it! On the most charming corner in the west village it makes for dreamy city vibes and people watching. It’s so cozy in the colder months and it’s the perfect outdoor fun vibe in the warmer months too. They make an INCREDIBLE aperol spritz - but they are strong be careful ;) We like their mocktails too and their house made potato chips are the best snack ever
10. Hotel - The Public
We usually stay at a rental when we are here for longer stays but for shorter/hotel stays we love the Public! Rooms in NYC are not usually very big anywhere so be prepared but the aesthetic is really nice here and the location is great!
